Montana law requires the body to be contained in a leak-or spill-proof container for transporting the deceased:If cremation is the choice, Montana laws states the body needs to be in a bio-degradable container that is easily manageable for handling. The law states a 24 hour waiting period and all pacemakers and other medical devices removed from the body before cremation is done in a licensed crematorium.
